have a recurring problem where outlook will flag large
numbers of my contacts with crossed sword icons and force
me to choose between 2 separate versions of my contacts
with the following instructions:

"Conflicting edits have been made to the same item. To
resolve this conflict, select the item in the list below
you wish to keep and then choose "Keep This Item", or
choose "Keep All" to preserve all the versions."

As far as I can tell, the contact records are the same.
It seems to have something to do w/ syncronizing my
contacts. Any clues?

If you delete the .ost file and resynch, does this problem
recur?
